Try the FREE one first... I am not a 'qualified' glider/sailplane pilot/trainer. Having been in a trainer 20+ years ago at Lasham airfield, GB/UK this is pretty damn good. Only downside I have seen so far is the menu buttons at the bottom if the display are a tad small on a 7" inch tablet.

First class simulator. Free version is a good way to get into it, learn gliding skills and explore the free map. Find the other 5 airfields! Full version not expensive and gives better experience with great maps and high performance sailplanes. Welcoming, friendly and helpful community with a shared love of gliding, including many real life pilots.

For the most it's a decent sim, but the gliders stall and crash a lot directly after launch, not due to pilot error, but infact programmer error. Other players try crashing into me fairly often causing me to get severely pissing me off so I fly alone. I wish we could block these jackasses from public sessions. Just more bullies. I do write there names down in case the developer actually makes a update. I started piloting aircraft 30 years ago, fyi....

Best money I ever spent in Play Store. Have had this app since it came out several years ago. Loads fast, flies smooth, simple and fun. I play my music in the background while banking around clouds. Pure bliss.

A bit angry with the paid version. Can't get a decent height on launch and refuses my password when I ask for help on the website!
