Used to play this as a kid. The view should be top down, men being circles, tanks squares with turrets, triangle aircraft. Used to close my eyes and dot the enemy map with a pen. Tanks and arty had area effects. Had great fun playing it. Ships and space battles are good variations.

This could benefit from a tutorial, but I like it for it's innovativeness. Apparently people play this on paper? Wish I knew about this game growing up. I would have played it all the time! Now I can, on my phone! Please polish this game some more, it's got potential!

About this app

In this game you fight a war battle trying to defeat your opponent. There are six distinct units and all have their strengths, some are better at fighting some units. Special recon unit gives you hints if you need them. Fight a mini battle in a war against a competent AI or your friends in hotseat mode.

If you want to play this game on paper as the original game, placement is the same, you can vary the number of troops according to you paper size. When you wish to take a shot, make a decent dot with pen or pencil, fold the paper at the half-way line and scratch over the dot you drew. This will transfer the dot to your opponents side of the paper.

This game version is a bit more advanced than the paper one, have fun playing it.
