I would have given this app 5 stars up until yesterday but it quit working on me completely. I try opening it and it closes immediately. I cleared the cache and the same thing happened. I cleared the data and it worked for a while then my phone rebooted and now it will not work at all. I don't like that for something that I paid for. I hope I'm able to get it back after I uninstall and reinstall.

Every now and then I check the Playstore for new Sudoku apps, but in my opinion Sudoku10000+ remains the best by some way. It's taken my solving ability from Moderate to Nightmare and beyond, thanks largely to tutorials and comprehensive assistance features. 100% customisable user interface sets the app even further apart from the rest. You can select colours for everything (lines, areas, text) to RGB level, and even text size and font. Assistance features such as whether to select complete cells or candidates only, are also customisable. The fully customisable colouring mode available is an absolute must for complex chain construction and application of all other advanced solving strategies. A very wide range of difficulty levels ranging from Very-Easy to Beyond-Nightmare makes the app suitable for all levels of players. The app has an internal puzzle generator, which can be used in the unlikely event that all the puzzles in the extensive library have been solved. The user can also create and edit their own puzzles. Not only do comprehensive hints explain the step-by-step logic required to reach a deduction, several alterative hints are also available. (e.g. If the 1st hint was a XYZ-wing, and you are not familiar with this technique, an alternative hint may be requested) Besides classic Sudoku, 7 additional variants of the game are also available. I paid for this and would have been happy to pay a whole lot more for the quality of this product. If you are looking for a good Sudoku app, there is absolutely no reason to look any further…

My favorite Sudoku app by far. Tremendous customization options, a huge database of puzzles of broad difficulty. Great for beginners and experts alike. I would like to see better importing options, perhaps via camera, so one can import the daily Sudoku from the newspaper, for instance. Adding one's own folders would help with this as well.

The gameplay is great. BUT... The statistics are completely bugged. It lets the timer run while the game is closed. The timer stops completely randomly, resulting in 5 second and 2 days and more, ruining any stats this app has. 1 pt for gameplay. 4 pts for defects. Update: now the app is COMPLETELY UNUSABLE because it's bugged out. Sucks.
