I don't understand the way the options of this game function and there is no explanation given. Why can I only move one card in a run when I have 3 free cells? If I put a card from the board into one of the free cells which leaves a free column I can then move more of the run. I don't understand this. Also, what are differences between the auto-move options? I have selected all three options, basic, advanced and expert and can't tell the difference at all. Also, I have selected the timer but no timer appears on the screen. The help page gives minimal information about the rules of game and nothing whatsoever about the controls. I have other games produced by this developer and love them but this one falls short.

FreeCell is an open solitaire, where all cards are dealt face up. The board consists of four free cells, four home cells and eight columns. The goal is to place all 52 cards in the home cells, forming four stacks, one for each suit, in ascending order from ace to king. Moves to a column must be made in descending order, alternating colors. Only the cards at the bottom of the columns or in the free cells can be moved. A free cell can contain no more than one card at a time.
