It keeps loading and crashing. Reinstalled multiple times. I wish i could give zero stars. They literally stole my money on an unplayable application. 2 months later and still no resolution. This is appalling. Edit its now January 2024 and this is still going on. I expect a free year when my app comes up for renewal. I sent video proof of the crashing and got no help

This app used to be great, but now it won't even stay open. I've updated, uninstalled and reinstalled, but it doesn't work anymore. App opens quickly & then immediately closes...no support. It's interesting that they suggested I contact them through the app. Obviously they did not understand that I can't do that because the app will not stay open. I tried doing that and also navigating their website which directed me to the app. Update: No response from NYT, but the app now works. Thanks

Absolutely terrible. I paid for the yearly subscription and have no access to the crossword still. Incredibly hard to reach customer support as well. This isn't the first time either. I subscribed last year and faced the same issue. After two days of calling customer service, they said that they're facing technical issues and that they can't find my subscription on their end. I asked them to delete my account. Now I tried again today by creating a new account and paying. Guess what happened?

Performs the basic function of accessing the NYT games, but the that's about it. One star was taken off because there is no was to directly go to the main menu, so at the end of the game (especially if you went directly from one game to the next) you have to hit the back arrow several times. The other star was taken off because several features from the browser version of NYT games are missing from the app, namely that it lacks stats like the Wordle Bot, as well as free archived crosswords.

just ruined it by adding timing & offer to share after completing. no way to disable. add this to infuriating "are you SURE?" every time you try to turn on autocheck & i'm just about ready to cancel my subscription. I don't want any score-tracking. I don't want to share. Word games aren't a competitive sport, and the emphasis on competition is a moden sickness. Give me a way to disable ALL vestiges of competition. would give zero stars if I could: every update makes it worse.

Hope they tweak Digits and bring it back, or another numbers-based game. I'm not a fan of Letter Boxed, Tiles or Wordle; however, Spelling Bee and Connections are my favorites. And, of course, the Crossword and the mini. I haven't seen Vertex in the games app in quite a while. It just disappeared from the lineup, with no explanation.
