A short "horror" game that tries too hard to be like The Room (an amazing game). I wanted to be blown away, but the idea of breaking into chapters isn't appealing to me and the puzzles themselves are ridiculous. I did buy the second game and was just as underwhelmed/frustrated. I don't recommend downloading or purchasing anything else from them unless you enjoy looking up walkthroughs and bang your head against the wall frustration.

Great short TEASER game, basically a free intro to NovaSofts other game. Simple point and click, puzzles, some journal entries to draw you into the story (which I think could've been more, not much to the plot yet). May need to crank up your screen brightness and volume. I'm impressed with how quickly the transition loads as you swiftly move from scene to scene, no lag, no getting impatient about how long it takes to get from points a to b. Looking forward to playing the full Meridian game!

I want to first say that I appreciate the effort that you went through to build the world. The story actually has me interested, which doesn't happen often. However, the mechanics are a little clunky and seem to belong more to a much older game. My biggest issue was that the puzzles weren't much fun. For me, it was far too much "find this item and put it here", when my tastes go more toward deeper logic puzzles. However, everyone is different and I encourage everyone to give this game a chance.

OMG. Just finished the Meridian series. This is the best hidden objects/escape game series I have ever played! The story line is awesome as are the graphics, puzzles, interface, you name it. Each chapter is nice and long, too. The hints are helpful, but don't give a way the whole puzzle so you can continue to work it out. I highly recommend. The chapters cost a couple of dollars each, but are well worth it.

I think this is a good start to introduce the series. Quality graphics, ambient music (though on a loop that ends and restarts) could try to make that seemless. All in all though, very nice. Reminiscent of Myst. There's enough to make me want to continue, but at a later date. Seems to be some discord about the levers for the draw bridge. Myself, I didn't look for the hint. Instead just went through a sequence of moves until I found the one that turned the light green. Didn't take long. No ads!

Pretty good demo, polished and free of glitches. No issues with hotspots being too small, which is awesome. It has a nice atmosphere and was fun to explore! Puzzles were well designed and challenging, although...I would have liked to see a little more relevance to the environment and plot, which is to say simply hunting for a code or item isn't as engaging as trying to draw conclusions about a character's motives or the function of a machine/system. Still, well worth my time!
