well worth the money. would like the option of undoing one part of a move instead of the entire move, but overall a great app and the integration with BNU backgammon is lovely.

It's a streamlined backgammon app with a solid export and analysis feature. There are no ads or annoying bells and whistles. The AI obviously doesn't cheat, you can set the random seed and or play in analysis mode etc etc. The other commenters are idiots l. I wish Jimmy would work to bring back online play (I know Google took down their API...) and I think the analysis mode could be better, with a ranked list of move options explaining the impact on both win and gammon percentages.

Cheats! Makes it's moves, the dice land on spots it blocked or force you to split pieces opening to a hit, over and over again, way too much to be true, so it knows rolls ahead much of the time. No matter how well you play or move it almost always gets rolls to hit you, almost never misses, too much to be true. Switch to manual rolls it loses it's ability to know rolls and all above cheats end. All experienced backgammon players agree it cheats, saying "the game is honest" is total B.S.!

Other than graphics and sound, this is top notch. Plays nearly as strongly as XG and in some ways has a nicer interface.

No developer can dispute that the computer gets lucky rolls just like a human player does. This is just the nature of backgammon.

There is merit to the criticism. And, answering people's concerns with a cut and paste response does not address the issue. It IS possible that your random dice generator DOES NOT approximate human dice rolling. Even if the math seems to. The bottom line is that the user experience ultimately sucks for most players.
