I found this app to be buggy. Several time on my Note3 it would freeze. It would do this only when I had absolutely winning positions. It was almost as if the attempted calculations to alleviate it's losing positions crashed the app. I just bought the new Note8 and am testing this app again. I am on my way home from work on tthe train and tried it again ... I just promoted a pawn to a Queen in another winning position. This time the game did not freeze ... it completely disappeared!! There was no sign of it. I am done. Uninstalling even though I paid for the PRO version ... it isn't worth it to work so hard on a game and have the result snatched from you. UPDATE - January 24th 2018 @ 4:22PM: In response to the developer response, I immediately tried the app again ... with the same result! The only difference was, this time I was in a losing position. I promoted my pawn to a Queen and the game terminated. My Note 8 said "Rival Chess has stopped. Restart app." When I did so ... my game was gone. It wasn't listed with the other games I had played at differing levels. This happened on Level 10. Same result on TWO different phones? I must have very bad luck.
