Great app for repetition and mastery building, and the ad-free version comes at a decent price. The UI is responsive enough, without unnecessary animations and other timesinks. My only complaint would be that the graphics appear weirdly stretched on my Xiaomi 9T (1080*2340 resolution). It doesn't really affect functionality, but it would be nice if it could be fixed in future versions.

Hi! I'm a student, I don't have the income to recklessly spend money for an app, that's why may I ask what are the features or advantages I get if I upgrade this app? So far I am so satisfied with the feature, the repetitive flashing of the characters really helps me remember them. I hope you can help me decide if I should or shouldn't upgrade the app.

I didn't like the pace that Duolingo had me learning the characters. It was long and annoying. This app helped me learn the characters fast so I can bypass those lessons. I would say doing this app 30 min per day for 4 days will give you a significant head start. I have not even had to come back to the app for a refresher. Because it was so good I donated to the developer. All in all this is a great way to get a head start and learning the characters.

A very amazing app to learn Japanese from Scratch. As it actually shows every character and how they are pronounced as well as good test option to see how much you learned and increase familiarity with characters. I would have gived it 4.5 but that I can't do. It would be much more great and worthy of 5/5 it only you could add a section where it shows different ways to write the characters. It would let helpful as you can't write by just watching the characters unless you are shown a way....

You can only use this forced repetition on hiragana and katakana. For Kanji, it is like forcing repetition on every english word, just don't do it for kanji, well except for the radicals, in which you can do the forced repetition.
