I love this idea ♡ Can't wait to get out there with the kids and try this.

This is a fab idea and Mr 6yo was excited,we explored the Botanic gardens in CHCH. However for this junior walking this whole area he was knackered half way through. It was so hard to see on tablet due to sunlight, so we had arguments trying to pull it off him to check direction.. the rose gardens ie take a pic of your fav rose I even did this so many times and it still wouldnt confirm the tick. One area "scavenger hunt" he thought was amazing when it popped up that too was painful... I think for the juniors a bit more interactive on site would be good so they feel they accomplished something... The walking around with tablet in such a beautiful place he normally enjoys also killed it for us..he had his head down most of the time..The idea is great but tweak maybe? he had more fun when I put tablet back in bag and we created our own adventures looking for venus flytraps in the hot house... sorry to be a downer!! but needs work / didnt work for us

I am a frustated mom, our family love this game but the kids are more motivated by getting the badges upon completion of the missions. Sadly at Hansen Dam and Echo Park, we could not find a place to collect the badges. These places are huge and we walked around so many times and made multiple phone calls and even asked employees at Discovery Cube LA, and still don't know where to claim our badge. Can you put this information in the app so that we know where to claim the badges?

Super fun and educational, my 9yo loved it! Only wish 1 there's more missions for northern california. 2 some clue in regard to what to look for (besides a question mark on the map) as we couldn't find the last place on the quest thus couldn't finish the mission, bummer.

Had great fun with this app for a sugar free Easter hunt through the woods. Wish the wording and facts were a bit more suited for children of ALL ages though, especially the age group that actually wants to go on a hunt for clues.

This is a great way to engage families in nature if they enjoy using technology. Much healthier than playing video games at home!

Agents of Discovery has partnered with Johnny Morris’ Wonders of Wildlife Foundation to bring you Mission Conservation — a series of play-at-home Missions and livestreams. Head over to the Mission Conservation page for more information: https://wondersofwildlife.org/mission-conservation/

Let’s get the jargon out of the way:

Missions are games or scavenger hunts, made up of Challenges. Each Mission has a map of its location and a Field Agent to guide you.

Challenges are questions or games. There are a variety of Challenge types: AR Picker, Image 50/50, AR Catch, AR Sorter, and Sound Matcher, to name a few. Once you have completed all the Challenges in your Mission, you’ll unlock a reward!

What is a petroglyph? How much water goes over Niagara Falls? Why does the moon change shape? Who was Martin Luther King Jr.? Why are bees so important? How do you prevent wildfires? How do you change the world? We’ll help you answer all these questions and more!

New features

- Improved AR Sorter/Sequencer challenges
- Added new controls for AR Catch challenge
- Fixed minor bug in Detective challenge
