Good game starts to feel a bit repetitive but is easily put down and picked back up at a later time.

Persephone is one of those isometric puzzle games with a slight twist, some of the puzzles require you to sacrifice yourself in order to proceed. That can be quite the zinger since self-preservation is one of the principal rules of video games in general. The hero can’t make it out of the dungeon if they’re dead, unless of course, they’re playing Persephone. Also, it’s a heroine in this case. Like all decent puzzles, Persephone starts out fairly simple with the game getting you familiar with the different mechanics. New mechanics are also introduced frequently as you progress through different sets of levels. Not many levels are difficult in the initial set of levels but as towards the later half of the game, you do come across a few good ones. It’s not just the mechanics that make it difficult but the simple nature of the puzzle without the added complexity of the mechanics add to the fun. There are plenty of ways by which you can die. You may fall over the level bounds, drop into a pit of spikes, drown, get clobbered by a spiky cannonball or just set yourself on fire. Persephone has tried it all and risen up each time.

Love the game. but Google Play Achievements are not unlocking it shows I have played the game but doesn't unlock the achievement. You should have play button integration in the menu so that we can check if it has connected or not. Hope you solve this issue asap.

Love the artsy look and puzzle style with nice music/sfx. Got very challenging as it went but never felt overwhelmed with difficulty. Going against preservation to solve, slow movement, and isometric controls take getting used to, but cool secret levels set it over the top. Best of all, after I beat it I found an Entire 'Nother Game thats just as long and Well worth the price! More levels and story to an already satisfying game show that these developers care for games and players, Support Devs!

Everything about this game is amazing. The controls are so adaptive, the gameplay is very original and challenging, and the graphics are super clean and beautiful. This is an amazing puzzle game and one that I would highly recommend.

Beautiful game which adds interesting gameplay ideas to the puzzle genre. Most levels require you to plan your steps and actions carefully. I also suspect some to have multiple solutions but even finding one was challenging! You should definitely give it a try!
