I want to improve my subtizing ability. The problem is it is too slow, so slow I can actually remember and just count the dots. My first play was in the 200s. I have 2 suggestions, firstly have different shapes and sizes as this is how subtizing in real life can occur, secondly, make the reveal time adjustable. But I still appreciate it, YEAAAAAAHHHH!!!! (EDIT: Apparently my thinking is very quick? This is two slow for me, I played it when tired and fatigued [It is 11:39] and could probably go on forever, WHICH IS USELESS. Please update!!!) :) :)

Just one suggestion. You can have a mode where dots don't disappear but there is a timer and someone should get the most answers in eg 1 minute

Fun game. Interesting to notice how it changes depending on my state of mind.

I don't know how an app this simple can be so fun, but it is! You should explain in your description that subitizing ability is closely related to mathematical ability. It'll probably increase your downloads. And Sam L who said the app is "really boring" probably has a 2 digit IQ at best.

About this app

Less than a quarter of a second. That's all the time you have to count how many dots are on the screen. A surprisingly challenging and addictive game.

The human brain has the ability to identify how many objects are in a small set without actually counting them. This is called subitizing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subitizing), and could be a factor in mathematical ability. When you play Count the Dots, you will find yourself using this skill to identify the number of dots on the screen without actually having the time to count them.
