Very under-rated game. Not really worth more than one playthrough once you win, but tough luck getting there. It's a semi difficult psychological thriller that takes you on a wild rush.

Hm... Well it's barely a game, so not for everyone but I love sci fi stories so I'm fine with that. The setting and universe are spectacularly intriguing and immensely unique, the graphics depicting what's going on is gorgeous and the music is cool (if you can hear it). Still the story isn't as interesting as I hoped, too much serendipity really and the ending is meh. Also the checkpoint system is abysmal, the music is glitchy and there are lots of typos. Well, waiting for the next installment.

Nice surprise to see the 2nd episode. I love.the game and the story but the story it's a bit forced and needs to be smoother. Certain actions and decisions are too blunt, the choices need to be more refined and the story better thought through. It probably was rushed too much for whatever reason. Can't say I'm impressed very much but the story and the concepts behind it are ok and palpable. The biggest bad thing about it is that it lacked art, too less art, and the story was too short, probably way shorter than episode one by far. But I repeat myself the game itself has what it needs to become a cult and looks like a good long term investition if it is advertised properly.

Pretty awesome! I picked up the OTCs after experiencing the Switch edition of OT and was instantly hooked by the simplicity of the game that allowed the devs to tell stories in a retro but compelling manner; while so many developers want to cash in on the 'nostalgia' market, here it is instead used to hook and reel you into a universe full of unanswered questions and unexpected dangers. Of particular note is the feeling of both old rpgs and choose your own adventures. Definitely Recommend!

This choose-your-own-adventure is such a good game. Yet English language issues make things difficult, like directional choices were very confusing. Furthermore, some choices don't make sense (someone on the frontline CAN protect you in the rear, but having them in the rear from the start means they CAN'T protect you). The checkpoints are not evenly spaced, so navigating permutations is a chore. Nevertheless, the music is great, and the art is cool (though limited). Well worth a play!

Another worthy game from Mi-Clos Studio. It's just as good, engaging and heart pumping as the first! The checkpoints make sense, the scenarios it put me through are memorable and never repeats itself and neither felt like a rehash of old ideas from the first game, which is a RARE thing these days. The length are perfect (guys, not all games can pull a Sorcery! series epic adventures) even though I want it longer and felt that there's was some missed opportunities (I want MORE like the survival part of the desert, I don't mind a few more like that, it's AMAZING). It should be longer for the price, but it's understandable. Even though I recommend 6 more scenarios though. Some variation of the survival scenarios perhaps? Looking at the ending, is it the end already? Too soon. I want to see an actual ending, not a good, mysterious future ending~~sigh. I'll will GLADLY PAY for another one.😉😉

About this app

The next chapter in the highly-anticipated Sci-Fi saga inspired by Out There, the multi-award-winning space exploration game.

After fleeing America in a ramshackle ship, Darius and his ragtag crew crash on a desert planet. He wakes in a sorry state, alone on the purple desert planet.
In this chapter, Darius must survive on a planet almost as unwelcoming as a local population that worships a mysterious Winged God. What happened to his crew? Did Nyx survive? And most importantly, how the hell can he get off this cursed planet?

Out There Chronicles is a unique adventure set several million years before Out There. Where do the Arks come from? What are the Cubes? Fans of the original game will find answers to some questions, but others will remain a mystery.
You’ll also meet various alien races and get the opportunity to learn more about their people… If you can master their language, of course.

In this universe that is so far from your own in distance and in time, a sharp mind and an instinct for survival are your only weapons. Friendships can be forged and ancient rivalries re-emerge through your encounters with almost-human and less-human races. Will you be able to distinguish friend from foe?
As in the original game, a single human is unable to face the forces of the universe alone. Achieve your goals by exercising diplomacy when needed, and seizing opportunities when they present themselves.

Written by FibreTigre, author of the original game, Out There Chronicles offers an epic story that will delight science fiction fans in search of new experiences.
Brilliantly illustrated by top French SF artist, Benjamin Carré, and equipped with a simple interface, Out There Chronicles will take you on a journey of adventure, even if you’ve never played a video game before.
