The UI is beautiful, I'm only giving a low rating because "pencil mode" still only allows one number in a square. There's no way to mark notes like "this could only be a 3 or 4" which is what the pencil mode is for in similar games. Not really sure what the point of pencil mode is. Not being able to mark notes means that you have to hold all of that information in your head, and even though I'm good at puzzle games I don't have a great memory, so I can't really use this app.

About this app

Prepare yourself for Futoshiki fever as you make your way through 101 increasingly difficult Sudoku-style number puzzles in one great app.

The aim of the game is simple: drag and drop the numbers onto the grid so that each row and column contains the numbers 1 to 5, and numbers either side of a less-than (<) and greater-than (>) symbol are bigger or smaller than their neighbour, as indicated. Easy, right?

You can plan ahead using pencil mode to make notes, with up to 3 notes allowed per square, and its easy to spot mistakes because the app will highlight them for you.

So, with 5 difficultly levels from Tranquil to Terrifying, only one question remains: can you solve them all?
