This is the first Killer Sudoku app I have tried, previously having use old fashioned paper and pen, so I can't compare to any other similar apps. However, I didn't need to look for any other apps, this one is great. Although you will need to purchase further puzzle packs, these are very reasonably priced. There are a couple of sample puzzles at different levels to try before you buy. There are also various different purchase pack options, either mixed or all one level. Features like the calculator, combination list, and the two keyboards etc are great . I can recommend it to all Killer Sudoku fans.

I've previously spent far too much on sudoku books at the newsagent that only have a few killer sudoku puzzles in them. This has hundreds (for a few dollars after installation, within the app). Also, I'm used to having to be set up at a table with my notes for different combinations handy. Amazingly, this app makes all that information available in concise form, available on the screen and able to be moved so it doesn't obstruct my notes on the grid. This app proves KS can be done in an app, and done well!!

First played this on my partner ipad nearly 3 years ago and I've loved it ever since. I asked about an android version and was told in Oct 2013 it was in the works... Imagine my surprise on receiving an email a few days ago telling me the good news that finally there was an android version and i could stop using my partner ipad. Totally worth the wait. If you haven't downloaded the megapacks do if, totally worth the money spent there are some fiendishly difficult killer sudoku puzzles in this app.

This is actually a really good app and I love the puzzles. I've purchased 2 of the easy puzzle packs and was trying to buy a third but every time I click buy I get a message saying Google play has stopped working. Is this a fault with this app? I don't have a problem when purchasing in any other apps and didn't with the first 2 packs so what's changed? Even tried buying the bigger pack but got the same message so it's not like a deliberate fault in order to get me to purchase a dearer one...?

A truly excellent implementation of a Killer Sudoku app. It really couldn't be bettered and very reasonable compared to buying a paperback. I hope they make other versions of Sudoku with this user interface, its exceptionally easy to use. If you want a Killer Sudku app - go for this one.

I love how this app lets you avoid the tedious switching off all other Sudoku puzzles to go in and out of pencil/note mode. But it's awkward seeing what you're undoing, and it's annoying that numbers appear in the order typed, not numeric order.
