If you've got a 1st Grader home during this pandemic, delete the clickers and "idle" games they're playing and install Do the Math. This team seamlessly combined old school RPGs with educational gaming. Soothing music, rewarding gameplay, and a polished experience that keep it entertaining through and through. In a sea of "idle games" and "clickers" that kids tend to gravitate to this was a refreshing find. It is ad supported in the form of full screen ads that come up occasionally, but it does have a button for getting rid of them "for the price of a cup of coffee". This was a really nice find.

I switched my stars from 4 to 5 becuase the app developer listened and was incredibly helpful. my kids ADORE this game and it has real value. with math it also has thinming problems (where you have to find items for people through the game) and learn to tell the time. Worth so much more than 99p bravo!

Math would be better if player had to type answer instead of multiple choice. Too much walking back and forth in this game. Too long to play entire game all at once and I forget where in the mission I am. Bird reminders too vague sometimes. Would be nice to buy extra hints.

Do the Math – Kids Learning Game is designed primarily for 1st grade and 2nd grade children, but our experience indicates that older kids and parents can’t stop playing it either. During the gameplay you accomplish various quests, while assorted foes challenge you with fun math questions. Besides exercises, there is a score of brain-teasers and math puzzles for kids, increasing their general intelligence. Great app also for homeschooling parents, as children will have fun while learning to work independently. In easy mode it is an ideal kindergarten math game, as well as a perfect app to practice math and have fun at first and second grade.


GAME PLOT

A vicious dragon has kidnapped the Princess, heiress to the kingdom. You, an honest peasant boy, will of course set out on a heroic quest to save her. Fight your way through opponents in several missions by answering cool maths questions. Trade with the Witch in the forest, make the Frog King young again in the swamp, recruit a pirate crew in the harbour, destroy the Pudding Monster in the hills, help out the Rat King in the gutters, fix your rudder in the Royal Town, sail to the Treasure Island, fight the Math Mountain Troll, and many other exciting quests!
