You don't have to pay money or watch videos to make choices. The story does not force romance on you. This is one of the best cyoa stories I have played.

Changed my review after playing through several times for different storylines. It was a good story but when it comes to choices, it may seem like you are making the decisions but it always forces you on the exact same path. The different endings are only a few small changes based on your very last choice. I give two stars because the first time through was good but after trying again I realised it's all the same no matter what you pick.

The point of a CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE is to change the outcome of situations and have multiple endings and solutions to multiple adventures. This game let's you choose choices and then says OH WAIT but that's a dumb idea so ima go with this instead cuz that was the correct answer sorry. Your choices don't matter and the ending is the same no matter what, this is just a downloadable book, NOT A CYOA!

True story. The choices you make only tweak the story because this game is a factually recount of the infamous Pirate William Kidd. It is a neat way to learn a out pirate history in a fun and engaging manner.

One of Choice of Game stories that does not dwell into whether you are Straight/ Bi /gay etc till now .Your character decisions affects the outcome until it leads to different endings!
