Sounds like a lot of people have performance problems, but it runs fine on my HTC Evo V (gingerbread) and Note 3 (KitKat.) I installed this years ago and came back looking for it because I loved the environment so much. You really feel like you're existing as a little life form at the bottom of the ocean. Mesmerizing.

The music is pleasant, and so are the graphics, but the controls need serious work. You can't even control the camera, and the joystick is offset is such a easy that you can only move forward

Yay, It Works On Huawei y201 Ascend (Not on LG G5 Or Huawei Y560-L02 trying Old LG Nexus 5 next). Graphics and Gameplay Great - Controls Iffy. Half the time I can't see my creature while moving the large button (Big button - small creature hidden underneath it). It's hard to get to level 20. ★★★★½

The thing just freezes on Genesis and I can't do anything. Uninstalled.

Need to be able to turn camera or put camera on follow with a tilt? Awesome game but not enough food and bigger stuff pops outta nowhere.

About this app

Deep Sea Evolution is a small game about evolving microbes. It was developed during the Game-Development Competition Ludum Dare 24. The theme was evolution.

It's not a really finished and polishe game but it is playable. The Mobile Controls were added after the Competition ended.

Gameplay:

You start with a microbe level 1 and need to connect with other creatures/microbes that have the same level as you. If you have at least 5 connected microbes you can evolve to a higher level. Evolve using the button.

Evolving can trigger mutations. If you have more microbes than 5 connected when evolving you have a higher chance to get mutations. Mutations can be either color change, speed change, max feed amount or microbe type change.

If you reach at least level 2 you can start feeding of smaller microbes to lower your starve rate. But be aware of microbes that are bigger than you. If they are only sightly bigger they will eat microbes away from your collected ones. If they are much higher they will instantly feed off you and you die.

If you reach level 20 you win the game.
