About this app

Pirate Izzy was created from our other game Pirate Ayden. Pirate Izzy was put together for a friends daughter who was diagnosed with a terminal illness called Cystic Fibrosis. Read her story below:

Isabelle was born at 39 weeks, November 20, 2011, 6lbs, 0oz 19in long. She was beutiful, healthy and happy. We spent the normal one night in the hospital and took our baby home. Everything for the first week and a half was normal. When Isabelle was 10 days old I took her to the doctor for thrush. As we were waiting in the back room for the doctor to see us, I had recieved a voicemail from the very doctor I was waiting on telling me that Isabelles newborn screen had come back abnormal and I needed to make an appointment at childrens right away. I didnt understand, I stared at Iz and thought "baby whats wrong with you". The Dr came in and proceeded to tell me that my baby tested positive for a terminal illness called Cystic Fibrosis. And my world shattered. We went to Nationwhide Childrens Hospital, got informed and began the life long process of taking care of our little girl. Today Isabelle has been through so much. So many doctor visits, hospital stays, I.Vs, machines, therapy, medicine and yet she is still so happy. Its not easy but we take it a day at a time and we remember that its ok if all you did today was breathe. We believe with all of our hearts that Isabelle will see a cure.

We would like everyone to be aware that this disease is out there and affects many people. And that we need a cure.

Thank you for all of your support.
