I really liked the old PC game and am glad to find it for the phone. A lot of people are complaining about the number of ads, but they must have a different version than the version I downloaded the other day. I have noticed ads when the player advances a level, but in no way would I call them excessive. Additionally one can purchase an upgrade to do away with the ads (the "watch an ad for a reward" option will remain according to the explanation next to the purchase option).

A mostly faithful remake of the word building classic, All the words and tiles are there but, sadly the humor and charm of the original are missing. A small item like a smart mouth bookworm may seem trivial, but his absence makes this a duller, more serious experience. If you are a new player, you'll no doubt have a great time. But us veteran wordsmiths miss Lex the Bookworm! Please bring him back!

It's about what I remember from playing this on my old desktop in the era of Windows XP- except for one issue. The game throws ads at you far too often. And unless I misread, it's $2.99 to remove 2 ads. That's a rip-off. Reduce the ads, or make it simpler to pay to remove All ads at a fair price? Easy 4-5 star game for word nerds like me.

we need our kids &especially this generation to know their words.Texting has become a conversation tool,instead of a information way to communicate. I am just telling you this,because I was looking at my reviews I write on google maps and I can see me using text short hand and it is not what I prefer. I gave 3*I'll come back after I decide I'm going to like it,and or,it's a good game for kids&people in general.I'm excited, I am a Logophile. My only fear 😱, I'll be forced to stay up 24hrs.

This is a fun, diverting, meditative game for word nerds. It's great to fiddle away at when you want a calm moment. The one thing I'd ask for would be a clearer guide to scoring points, but even then, the real fun is in wriggling out of tight spots, not amassing points.

I LOVE this old game. Played it 25 yrs ago on first home computer. Back then you could touch the word and get the definition. Now you cant? Makes no sense to me... I am paying for ad free and people are paying for a hammer use which you used to be able to earn. If you put definitions on it I'd increase stars to a 4.
