This game is the hiddem gem of offline, detailed, strategic, and action-packed RPGs. At first, the controls are odd, but they soon become instinctive. The level of detail to the gameplay, stories, levels, and equipment in this game is incredible too! On top of that, if you don't know something about anything, like a skill or an enemy, just click the question mark button up top to read a short summary. The classes are great and you can pick up spells along the way to custom-build your own class!

Years ago I tried this game but could not get into it. Now that I have given it another go, I enjoy it much. With wizard unlocked, the game is more enjoyable, so refrain from avoiding the game just because only the fighter is available in the beginning.

I think Cardinal Quest 2 is one of the best rogue like games among the same genre. Complex, varied, and very pleasant. The only thing I don't like is the problem of controls that are not comfortable playing for new players, but this can be skipped if you play often. It seems like this is a hidden gem game because this game is truly amazing for the rogue like genre.

It's an awesome game for any mobile/tablet device. I absolutely love it. And quick tip, go into the tower, and get the vials from there. They appear more frequently, and you get bosses every five or six rounds so you can use them.

Great little rougelike. The simplicity of the sprites and controls make the game seem like a mindless hack and slash at first, but looks can be deceiving. The class variations, skill tree choices, and equipment/spell availability make for a surprising amount of gameplay variation. And the skill tree choices have a huge impact on gameplay, because the stats are such that a bonus/malus of +/- 1 makes a considerable difference.

Great 8-bit roguelike. I have had a lot of fun playing this game, my only "complaint" (if you can call it that) is there's no option to use a d-pad. I think a d-pad would be another great and easy way to control the avatar. 5/5 great job.
