This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing DefCom on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

It would be nice if there was some sort of info screen to explain all the enemies, powerups and weapons

About this app

Defend you base against a horde of alien missiles who just wish to destroy you, in a fast yet simple arcade style

Just select your weapon and click on the screen to fire, but remember, they have a cooldown to reload so you must switch between them to let the others refill a little in time.. but if you need it, you can shoot at the upgrades, some of them will refill certain weapons to continue with your duty without taking a breath.

If this is not enough in the weapons second row you will find your trustful drones, who will be in charge to make the dirty work for you, as long as they survive in the battle field so keep an eye on them and protect them as they protect you. Once you selected the desire (and available) drone just click to deploy it and drag to aim where you want it to shoot. This upgrade the game to a new whole level of strategy.

Be fast, discover your own strategy. beat your score and survive as long as you can, a great challenge is in front of you brave soldier, it's all in your hands.
