About this app

Most likely one of the first games you played when growing up. War - The Strategy Card Game by Iversoft offers two variations of the card game. Traditional War, and a newer, fast paced version called "5 Man Melee".

Traditional War is simple to pick up and learn. The deck is split into two piles, yours and your opponents. Each player flips cards from the tops of their deck, the highest card winning both cards. The goal is to bring the opponents card count to 0.

5 Man Melee operates in a similar fashion where the deck is still split into two piles, but some new changes are involved. Each side draws 5 cards from their deck, and can organize them into how they want them to be revealed. Each card battles the card across from them, with the higher card being the victor. The winning card is retained by the player, while the losing card is discarded. 5 Man Melee goes quickly, so you can get many more games in over Traditional War.
