This is an excellent strategy game that replicates your clasic hex based wargame simulation. It is challenging to play the Germans during the airborne invasion of Crete. The only item that kept me from giving this app 5 stars is that it does not auto center on combat and you can not undo moves.

Touch sensitivity is not that good. Find myself banging away just to select units or making moves I don't want. Needs a zoom in and out option. OK, but not that great when compared to the other two strategy game makers Joni Nuutinen and John Tiller Software. The game can be fun, but the touch sensitivity issue makes playing a bit of a chore.

These games may not look exciting to some but they take me back to the days of war gaming with 'counters' & 'board-maps'. Again some may find the mechanics of the game annoying but that is part of the strategy and tactics. They are well designed and produced. I hope they continue in the same format. Try also Battle of the Bulge & D-Day.

About what I would expect from a small simulation, but I think accessible rules and better visualized resources and weather would be handy. For what it is, it's a kickin' little game.
