Just learned this game IRL. Fun to see it in the play store. Slightly different than the rules we play, but same fun game.

Great game. It's fun when you find a player that will play with you pretty quickly, but when you can't you can always play the computer. You can play multiple games at once. For those saying that it doesn't score right, it absolutely scores correctly. I think those players confused rows for columns; a row goes across, not down *facepalm to those players* haha. Minus one star for how it shows games. I wish I could delete or cancel games with players who are inactive.

Love it! It is a version of a game I play. Maybe some rules aren't explained, like the row of 3 of a kind needs to be horizontal only to have points taken off.

This game doesn't following it's own scoring rules. A row of 3 doesn't equal 0 points it just adds up the point of each card. If you're going to do it that way then you should change your scoring rules and make it untrue to the real game so people stop going for rows of 3.

Glad there's an app for this game! Appreciation for that. Some suggestions - I'd like a way to increase the speed of play. Also a way to not have the text boxes with card details show, I don't see the benefit of these. And, the AI is easy to beat, especially in difficult mode. A couple reasons for this: It doesn't respond to my pacing so I often go out much sooner, and the AI doesn't place cards to take advantage of the three-in-a-row rule. In advance mode it also has a glitch where it replaces a known 3 with a drawn 3. I haven't played people on-line so this is just for AI play.

This game doesn't even follow its own rules! And there is no place to see the rules or look them up or see how much the cards are worth! Not worth your time!

About this app

9 Card Golf is a multiplayer card game where the lowest score wins.

3 Modes of play: Online, Computer, and Pass and Play!

How to play 9 Card Golf:
9 cards make up each players board.

Game starts by turning 2 of your 9 cards face up.
Each round you select a card from either the draw pile or discard pile to replace any card on your board.
Replaced cards are discarded to the discard pile and the games moves to the next player.
The round ends when any player has their entire board face up.
Once the round ends the remaining players can select 1 more card from draw or discard before being forced to turn all remaining cards over on their board.

A new round is started until a players total score adds up to more than 100 when the game ends.

All number cards are worth their own number. 2 is worth 2, 3 is worth 3 etc.
Aces are worth 1 point
Kings are worth 0 points
Queens are worth 10 points
Jacks are worth -2 points

2 player games are played with a single 52 card deck, 3 and 4 player games are played with 2 decks.
