I absolutely love this game. I won't lie, I went into it expecting a simple matching puzzle game with cute graphics but not much else. I was pleasantly surprised to find that each character is different, from their problems, to the way they approach them, or even their very gameplay! While the fundamentals are the same, each one has their own unique spin on it that reflects their problems and emotions as they become more intense the deeper you go. For example, in one level you have to constantly work as fast as you can otherwise you become quickly stressed and overwhelmed, just as the character feels; however in another, the definity of death is portayed by unmovable tombstones and floating spirits that you must somehow carefully work around to bring the patient solace... All in all, this is a wonderful game with very fun gameplay, and made feel happy knowing I got to help them, even if they are just characters. :)

I can understand the negative reviews regarding the challenge this game offers - it presents itself as a match-3 game and historically these are games that could be described as calming, or mindless. Dr. Meep requires a LOT of strategy. An example: one level requires you to NOT match skulls. Every two turns new tiles rain on you, including skulls. Obviously this means you can die immediately because skulls fell in and made a match. Then I realized that I needed to REALLY be paying attention and never allowing two skulls to be beside one another to stop this (while also trying to match enough to pass the level.) Yes, it's hard - it almost feels unfair, but it's not really. Very challenging and won't be for everyone but I am enjoying it overall. The style is a mix of cute, relatable and kinda sad? I like it.

You'll either really love this game, or really hate it. personally, I love it. The wacky visuals and unique game mechanics are very pleasing. There's only a short tutorial at the beginning, then it's up to you to figure out how the new "emotions" work. You have to be patient, at times, but finally beating a level you struggled with is very satisfying. Great if you're looking for a challenging game. What? Did you expect solving people's problems to be easy? it's hard but not impossible. good luck

although the levels definitely get harder, you have to find the logic behind every character and use it. (I couldn't understand it at first but now I have all the characters opened) I love everything about the game! the characters, their dark secrets, the design overall, even replaying levels in order to gain more stars. didn't regret buying :)

Visually great, but absolutely frustrating. It's unfortunate that a game's "replay" value is based off it's unrelentless difficulty. Don't be fooled, this may look like a strategy based match-3 puzzler, but it's weighted to make you lose...a lot. Don't get me wrong the design is great, characters are fun, nonetheless you will, more times than not, be left annoyed by the lack of a gradual increase in difficulty. There's 1 tutorial level, everything else is unecessarily difficult.

The demo made it seem great. After a few levels and opening half the patients, it became impossible to pass any of the levels. I even had multiple people try the game and not get much farther either. Rather it be free with ads because I used it for a day before uninstalling. I like the idea but only being able to get rid of emotions and not be able to move them was infuriating. Add on the special levels with things (booze, memory, food) that ruin everything and its impossible.
