This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing eHex on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.

About this app

By this application, you can play with the computer in Hex.
The computer AI is called "EZO".
EZO participated the international convention "Computer Olympiad" of Hex.
EZO got the silver medal award in 2013 and the bronze medal award in 2015.



【 Hex 】
Hex is the board game for two player, it was independently invented by John Nash who became the model of the movie "A Beautiful Mind" and Piet Hein.
Hex is played on a rhombic board consisting of hexagonal cells.
It is known that the game cannot end in a draw and the first player has the winning strategy.
The reason is that the first player has the advantage, there is the swap rule for fairness.


【 Rule 】
The two players have uniformly colored pieces (e.g., red and blue), and the game proceeds by players placing their pieces in turn on empty cells. The two red opposing sides of the board are assigned to the red player, and other two opposing sides are assigned to the blue player. The goal of the game is connecting the two opposing sides by own color pieces: the red player wins if the red player successfully connects the red sides using red pieces, whereas the blue player wins if the blue player successfully connects the blue sides using blue pieces.

The swap rule allows the second player to choose to play red player or blue player after the first move is put.
