So Dad! They had to stop supporting the social and server based functions. It's still a fun game, in fact it's one of my all time favorites! But I miss the swarm part being functional.

Swarm has lost contact with leaderboards since end of July and is yet to return. No replies to my comment so I'm guessing they no longer support the game.
