I think it needs to be updated to use the newest Scrabble dictionary that was re-published in 2018. Many common words in modern American vernacular are not accepted. Aside from that, this is a great app. Clean and simple, no social media clutter or microtransactions. It's exactly what it needs to be and nothing more. It's definitely worth buying the paid version to get rid of ads.

Been playing this for more than 10 years at this point (with some of the same opponents) and cannot imagine life without it. I would really like to understand how points accumulate though because it makes absolutely no sense how I win a game by a large margin and end up with single digit points.

It's a great version of Scrabble because, let's face it, that's exactly what it is. The developer needs to learn about transitive verbs, as they are not accepted in his game. Some other very common English words are not acceptable either which is very annoying given the amount of American slang it accepts. Stupid past tense American verbs like DOVED are accepted. Doh! Good but needs improvement. Needs a better dictionary for reference.

its ok, a bit basic. A list of previous plays would be nice, and maybe some more history of previous games? Also, I play in WLOH and would be good to have some closer integration with that league, for example automatic results posting.

Interesting fun entertainment, learn new words, chat with people all over the world. Or just play with a group of people you choose. Dismiss players you are not comfortable with. Win or loose it is sociable contact wherever you are. When it rejects a word that's in Scrabble dictionary it's annoying!

Bug: set notification sound to "None". Close/reopen app, notification sound is set to "Default notification sound". Also, the new UI is slower than the old and the new layout wasn't needed.
