This is genuinely one of the best (mobile) games Ive ever played. I played this because I played the 2nd game and wanted to see what this one was like, but the 2nd is beter, obviously since it is THE 2ND GAME and whatnot, but this is still really good, too. I genuinely enjoy it. I havent gotten past chapter 1 in this yet because I keep dying towards the end of it, but it's still really fun nonetheless. I suggest anyone who sees this to play it. Just don't ragequit if u die, or...well u kno why.

The Ai on this game is unbeatable. Getting past crixus is completely impossible with any abilities. Lowering the difficulty would probably bring me back to this game as it is super fun and I love the game play. The humor in this game is awesome it just looses its fun when you constantly lose after trying every ability and combination and dying the same way to the same OP AI

Great game, little bit of info for new players, You can run from the boss fights if there too tough just make sure your agility is high and then go to sleep and slowly level up with the enemies u find. Good game took me 12 hours to finish. Would play again! Just wish there was more in the shops u can die by not eating and sometimes the shops dont carry food.

Amazing game. It had lots of challenges to overcome and lots of different ways to play. I beat the game 1st try but it took 198 days to beat. The final boss was a bit too easy though, I spent probably 50 days preparing for a big fight only to have the boss barely do any damage to me, he didn't even do a quarter of my health. Other than that the game was really well made and I hope Gladiator Rising 2 is even better. Keep up the amazing work and thank you for the game.

A perfect example of Gladiator styled, rogue-like RPG. The gameplay is simple and incredibly straight forward with turn-based combat that can be easily manipulated to win every match with ease. The RNG is well done in the sense that every single play through will have a chance at being mildly challenging to set your Gladiator up in the beginning, or alternatively (like myself) you can create a God Tier Gladiator that makes the final boss an absolute cake walk. Needs more achievements though. XD

tldr: Don't build a sequel until you get the first one working. Good concept but it has a major glitch. I got an instakill achievement, killing the opponent in one attack, but then my game ended as if I had died, even though I was nowhere close to dying. And when you die, your game is over, so it's unrecoverable. I'd love this game if they bothered to make it work, but not sure I'll keep going if the game might glitch me dead and throw away all my progress at any time.
