I really like the stacking function, much more fun than words with friends. Would be good to link with facebook friends and to have available for apple devices. My other gripe is the short amount of time before a game times out, def not good for busy mums! If those things were fixed I'd give it 5 stars.

Enjoying this game. Stacking letters is a great addition to traditional scrabble games. One major issue for me though is that I cannot fully zoom out so I cannot see the whole game board without scrolling. This makes the game feel claustrophobic. Hopefully it will be fixed with an update.

Word pirates no good anymore, I dont know what happened to this game. I used to love playing this but now i dont get no players when i request a new game. It just keeps saying "still searching for a new opponent:" please fix this problem.

For the last month your game hasn't been loading and whilst playing when it did load, the menu bar would not open to mssg. other players or to remove finished games. Please patch it up or push restart or do a soft boot? At least let me PLAY?

Has problems connecting to server 1/2 the time. I also paid for bombs that never appeared, I emailed them, hopefully they answer me. When it works, the game is fun, I like it better than Words with Friends.

About this app

Word Pirates is a free word game that's as crazy as it is addictive. Play with friends on a game board of ocean water surrounded by islands. All seems calm but there's something hidden deep below the surface, mines! Each game starts with 5 mines being randomly hidden on the game board. If you're unlucky enough to play a letter on a mine it'll be blown to pieces! Things get real fun after Turn 3 when you start hiding your own mines to slow down opponents. Word Pirates is the first word game to let players stop their opponents from scoring points.
