The building aspect is self explanatory and easy to figure out. Quests in game to progress further are poorly designed, not very intutive (for the player). There are no tutorials for some of the main quests. The humor in game are cringe at best. It feels like it's from the 1990's. There are constant pop up ads to purchase hero packs, resources and champions.

I downloaded it because the ad for it looked interesting. FYI, it is nothing like the ad. The constant pop-up booster pack ads drive you insane. Got to level 9, and now I'm bored with it. I wish there was a way to send off the children once they're mature instead of them just taking up space in the castle. I'm deleting the app so I can play other games.

The game can be fun and growing your own city, with your nobles, armies and allies can be fulfilling, but to make real progress, you either have to spend too much money or "wait" forever. Uncommon Bronze is required for everything at some point but you can only refine a small number every 9 hours or so, or buy one of those 40 dollars bundles even when I already spent 25. There is potential, but these pay walls ruin the game for a lot of people.

Somewhat unique castle builder game that fails typically. I have no problem spending when prices are reasonable, but like most games, it's way overpriced. It costs $5 just to unlock a second build queue (first red flag). They also offer a ton of permanent boosts that are only in bundle packages that can go for $5-$20 each (Second red flag). And of course, they have a starting "event" that requires you to spend $50 within the first week of playing to unlock all rewards (Ultimate red flag).

The most recent update added some nice depth/variety. However, it completely changed the experience of the game. It used to be an RTS that you could enjoy casually and has become a game that requires hours and hours of grinding to do basic progressions and basic functions. Something that used to take a passive 10 hours to gain materials for, now requires 333 hours (20,000 minutes) of active grinding. I did the math, thats not an exaggeration. It is a great concept but the execution is flawed.

As of the most recent update (Aug 4th) the game has slowed down to an unbearable level. There the resource gains from fighting npcs; the primary way players get resources; have been dropped so low that to upgrades ca. now takes hundreds if not thousands of npcs to get the required amounts. As well as a time lock on other materials limiting you to one random amount per 10 hours. Between 1 to 6 when you need several hundred per upgrade. Or you can pay to win. The game was great but it's ruined.
