Fun, position-heavy strategy roguelike A good entry in the chesslike subsubgenre alongside Hoplite et al. Position matters and you choose which lamp ability to use in what situation, while juggling health and battery. The UI could use a little polish, like indicating when an enemy is stunned or when an ability is active, but that's easy to overlook because it's a fun play.

Fantastic game. I love the hex map, I think it was a great decision, and the variety of the levels and bosses really makes you think in order to survive. My all time favorite part is the music, whoever made it matched the genre and feel of this game perfectly.

Lamplight is an excellent positional roguelike, but I feel that the game is a little too easy as it is. It likely could use a hunger clock type of mechanic or some other interesting game mechanic to throw the player off balance. As it is now, one will complete this roguelike quickly and then move on.

Good game to fill your rogue-like craving, but does not have any permanent progression. Also, I wish it was clearer what the difference in the upgrades. Purple vs Blue vs Red (the ones I've seen so far)... What's the difference?

This is a very good time killer! I love the Lampedia. The gameplay gets a bit repetitive, but its not bad.
