As an experienced 42 player of over 60 years, I can say this game does not follow the conventional 42 rules - it cheats. You are essentially playing against the phone computer which knows what is in your hand as well as your opponents hands. Therefore, the game is definitely stacked against you, and if you play your "off", they almost always play the combination it takes to set you.....much more frequently than would statistically be expected if your opponents did not know what was in your hand from the beginning. On the other hand, good luck with setting your opponent by leading double five or six four....they seem to never have the off domino. This insight has been gained from playing this phone game thousands of times and identifying the patterns of play....definitely not normal. That said, I still play (I learned to take advantage of the computer's abnormal rules).

This game is very well made. The computers play very much like competent 42 players. An online mode would be awesome to play against real players, but the game is challenging enough on its own that it feels like real competition. I do wish you could reposition the dominoes in your hand, but outside of that no complaints. Very enjoyable game.

After playing a couple rounds (and winning both), I came here and was astonished to see all the sour grapes among reviewers. This game plays quite well. Maybe y'all need to check your settings; maybe your partner is playing like a dummy because you set it that way. This plays exactly like I'm used to at family gatherings. Getting junk hands is part of the game. Getting great hands that just don't pan out is too. But if you have experience, you can win. This app is excellent.

Plays very nicely. Fun to play. Great variety of settings to play the game one wants. Recommended. Flaws: 1. Partner does not lead highest trump, so one does not know whether to discard count. 2. Partner does not play lowest trump on my high trump lead, making it difficult to read his hand. 3. Under certain conditions partner fails to discard count. Nice to have: ability to replay a hand.

When playing 7 you and your partner dominos should count but the way this game is set it's the first hand that is closer to 7 even if you're partner is even with them they take the game. This is not the correct rules of play please fix this.

i have been playing this game for years, and untill recently, it would store scoring information . i use this infp for logging purposes. but recently, after an update, it no longer keeps an active score, rather it deletes running game and hand information after....mayb 12 to 24 hours. tjis is not helpful at all and in no way intices me to buy this game, in fact i am looking for a replacement now. thank you for the original game, but no thanks on the current version as is.

Within the trick dialog, tapping any domino or hidden trick icon will display all played dominoes.

(3) Can I undo a bid or trump selection?

If you are the high bidder, an undo icon appears. Tapping the icon will undo the last bid, trump, or contract selection.

A yellow bid indicates a forced bid.

(5) What are the different AI play styles?

Conservative: Only bids above 30 with really strong hands.
Normal: Bids on a mix of hands. More likely to bid 31-35.

Once play starts, the three variants generally follow the same strategies.
