Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing QuickDice Free on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

About this app

The game is fairly easy to understand:

There are 5 dice: green, blue, orange, purple and 2x white.
First you throw the dice. Now you have the opportunity to cross two numbers:
- you can (but you don't have to!) cross the number, which is the sum of both white dice.
- you can (but you don't have to!) cross the number, which is the sum of one (!) of the white dice and one (!) of the colored dice.

Important to note is, that you don't have to cross every number in a row. Which means gaps between the numbers are possible. But you can't fill these gaps afterwards - The succession is from left to right!

If you can't or don't want to cross a number in a round, you get a misthrow (-5 points).
The maximum of misthrows is 4.
The game ends with either the 4th misthrow, or when 2 arrays are closed.

An array is closed, when the green / blue "12", or the orange / purple "2" has been crossed. This however, is only possible if there are at least 5 numbers crossed in that array.
If an array is closed, you recieve an extra cross, which results in more points.

So far this application is only played solo, but there will be an application in the future with multiplayer support.
