Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Gloomhaven Monster AI (outdated version) on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. The attack modifier deck doesn't seem to work properly. It looks like it only reshuffles when empty instead of when crits are revealed, and tapping the icons to add multiple curses and blessings doesn't work right. The monster ability decks look like they work fine and this will be very convenient for future sessions, thank you!

Congratulations on your fantastic Gloomhaven application. It works really well. I have a suggestion. Would it be possible to add monster's big cards (with life, movement, attack and range) to the app? As an example, if a bandit has base Move 4 and base Attack 2, and the ability card drawn shows Move -1 and Attack +1, it should appear "Move 3, Attack 3" in the app. For most of the groups, the most time-consumming part in a round is to compute specific monster numbers (combination of big cards and ability decks), without errors. A lot of us would pay for an app with that feature. Thanks in advance,

As far as I'm concerned, this is a must have companion app for Gloomhaven. It makes the game flow so much faster, and it's easy to add or remove different monster types as they show up.

Overall, great app, but last update broke it. Monster cards just keep drawing every time I touch my phone. We've switched back to physical cards. Will review again after the next update.

The update that added gestures broke the app. It shuffles when I pickup the phone!

Works great for the most part unless you have the screen closed for a longer amount of time. Reopening the app always has completely different cards!

About this app

Due to loss of my computer I had to publish new version of application as a second app. For some time both of them will exist, but in the future I will delete the outdated version. I want to encourage everyone to download the new version and feedback on whether everything works as it should. The name of new version is Gloomhaven Monster AI.

The application for Gloomhaven which simulates the Monster Action Decks. It streamlines the setup of the game and speeds up the setup of the game (less shuffling).

The application have Action Decks for every monster type in the game. It allows players to easily manage the monster deck cards for current encounter. Each card stack has its own history, that starts with last "reshuffle" card.
Additionally application allows to simulate Monster Modifier Deck. The application will shuffle deck automatically at the end of each round when MISS or CRIT cards are be drawn. You can also add Curs and Bles cards to the deck.

The state of the application is saved whenever you close it - you can complete the game later.

I would like to thank Isaac Childres for creating such a wonderful game as Gloomhaven. The application was created with his permission.

I would also like to thank Marek Baranowski for help with the graphics and creating a wonderful icon for application.

IMPORTANT: Synchronization works, but it is not the most convenient to use. During game you should be wary not to desynchronize your applications.
