This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing StrataTag: Electronic Capture the Flag on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

About this app

Get ready for adrenaline-fueled excitement as you work with your team to outsmart and outplay your opponents in this real life, outdoor game. In StrataTag, you will run, jump, plan routes, capture checkpoints, and eliminate other players all with the help of the intel player talking in your ear.

Your goal will depend on the gamemode and team you choose. In StrataTag’s first gamemode, Checkpoints, you will either be on the attacking team and be trying to sneak from checkpoint to checkpoint, capturing them, without being seen by the defenders or you will be one of the defenders, looking for the attackers. Each team will have one intel player, who will play on a computer, and any number of players playing on their mobile device, called field players. The intel player’s role is to lead their team to victory. They will use their map, which shows them the locations of the checkpoints and the players on their team, to make a plan. Then they will use voice messages and locational messages, called ‘pings,’ to lead their field players to the objectives.

WARNING: This mobile app is just a part of what you need to play StrataTag. The game requires some advance planning, scheduling with multiple players and participation from two players who will play using a computer and browser. Visit StrataTag.com to learn more about the game.
