The attacker slaps by tapping once and the defender retreats by tapping at the right time. To attack, you need to press the button, and the defender will have to press his button fast as well, all to pull the hand away and avoid any potential slap. Whenever the defender player gets to avoid slaps, he will become the attacker. Be careful if you are the defender and retreats your hand without being attacked because you can dead.
