A wonderful app that's revealed a few things to me. As I use my pip, I ask "what's bothering me" and follow my emotions down a cathartic rabbit hole of what is causing my anxiety. Honestly exploring these emotions and their associated thoughts typically leads to a release of a great amount of stress/anxiety. The pip and this app are powerful introspective tools in that they force me to be honest with myself and really peal back some psychological defense mechanisms I might be keeping some undealt with demons behind. The pip is grounded in a physiological, unbiased metric (electrodermal activity), so I can objectively track my progress and see improvement over time. If i'm feeling arrogant or lazy about my meditation, the spaceship in the app doesn't give me positive feedback, and that's a wonderful reality check. And because I get to choose the colors which match 'stressed' and 'relaxed', respectively, the colors are not overly abrasive --- they feel good, which I've learned is great for treating my anxiety. This communicated to me the importance of being positive for overcoming anxiety.
