The ads are lies. I wanted to run down the road and shoot stuff like the videos show. You spend very little time doing that, and the levels are extremely short. You spend 95% of your time upgrading your base and units and going in and out of nested menus collecting boxes of stuff you can never use up because it takes forever to upgrade anything. Absolutely boring, very little action.

Misleading in-game offers. Like most free-to-play games there are many things you can buy to enhance gameplay but they are not clear on what you receive. Example: Initially you are limited to 1 building upgrade at a time. After paying to "permanently enable build queue" you'd expect to be able to queue up multiple upgrades. Wrong. Your "queue" will have a limit of 2, unless you upgrade again for 4x more. Not sure what the limit would be with another upgrade. Not going to find out.

The game starts out very fun but around level 11 it slows down like crazy. Everything takes sooooooo long to upgrade and it just gets worse with every level after that. The game is made in a way to get you addicted to it, so then you spend tons of real money on in-game purchases in order to speed up the process of upgrading. I don't mind in-game purchases for $1 or $2, but most packs here are worth between $20 and $100!!! Who in their right mind would spend that much on a mobile game??

They got me. It's pretty fun at first, then the GRINDING dude. I'll save you some frustration and a few bucks: you will make progress for 3-5 "blocks", then you will get stuck with an enemy that is way too strong. You will go back to the world map and grind your buns off gathering exp and upgrading various structures for 3-36 hours until you can level up enough to beat the guy you're stuck at. Repeat for life I guess. If you are open to spending a LOT of money, I think this game could be fun.

Fun ... Addictive ... EXPENSIVE! As many have pointed out, it's a great game that will hook you quick, but if you want to get anywhere or even survive, get ready to grind and spend $. I would gladly give this game more stars, which would be deserved, if they changed a few aspects. Stop charging so much Gold for EVERYTHING! If I'm already spending all of my EXP, Steel, etc, don't take all my gold! Reduce the wait time for free Stamina, and give us better options to collect it on our own.

Pay to win garbage. Mostly a city builder with a few run and gun parts. After about a week the upgrade times for anything become absolutely ridiculous. Additionally, the top 5 Alliances all have a non-aggression pact and only beat up only new guys just trying to get off the starting block. You'll get raided over and over until your base is destroyed. I ruins any fun of the game. If you choose to play, don't spend any money unless and until these issues are resolved.
