Merge Number New is a 2048-style game with a brand new playing style. In this game you shoot number blocks up and merge them with existing number blocks. Merging happens automatically, the rule is simple - neighbour blocks with the same number can merge. Try to merge numbers into larger numbers, and create a highscore in the game!

In an original 2048 game, a player merge numbers by sliding through the board and move all number blocks that can move in the sliding direction. In this game, it's even more simpler to move number blocks: just touch a location, and the number blocks will shoot into that direction. It's easier to operate thus simpler to learn the basics.

Although the game is easy to start with, it's difficult to master: you must have a sense of possibilities of future incoming blocks, to properly arrange current blocks into a good position that allows future blocks to be placed nicely and easy to be merged. If you only considers current block and ignores future placement, probably it will get harder and harder for you to place new blocks and eventually there will be no place for new number blocks!

Some tips for playing:

Try to keep large number blocks in the top. This makes creating combos easier since two small numbers merge into a larger number, and the large number have chance to merge with other top blocks, creating a combo in the end.

Always keep calm when space is getting smaller. If you calm down and try to merge from small blocks, you'll gain space. If in a hurry and placed wrong positions, it may be just impossible to turn the game around. The less space you have, the more cautious should be taken to place each one block.

Don't get distracted by coins. Only consider collecting coins when the placement is good for merging blocks. Breaking your board positions for collecting coins is not worth it. Because if you play longer, you can potentially get more coins!
