The makers of this game seemed to have been trying to make something that is sort of a cross between a Mario game and a Sonic game. While it's not exceptional as either, it still seems to work... Almost. I want to give this a higher rating because I think they're really trying, but there need to be button size and placement options. It does get kudos for not being fussy about which front side you're playing it on the phone though.

I like this game, it's a great way of passing the time. The one downside is that it won't let me double jump so I'm stuck part way through island 1 level 2, I would love to keep playing it but will have to uninstall if the problem doesn't get fixed, please help.

I love the concept of this game it's really fun but the controls suck and he doesn't jump right. During the tutorial he's supposed to double jump when I press the jump button as he jumps but he never actually double jumps. Since he doesn't jump I can't get through that section and in later levels he doesn't get eggs, stars, etc. That needs to get fixed cause there's no point in playing the game if it doesn't let me complete objectives.

I would give it a 5 if the controls were better. He just don't jump to good. Couldn't even break the rocks beneath me.

Perfect! Graphics are wonderful, physics/movement and control is just right, like everything else. This is the first game of this type, on the Play Store (in my opinion), that really defines quality and brings back fond memories of the Genesis or SNES. Games like these start making Android a serious contender on the game scene. I didn't like/had trouble with some games on PC or consoles, but I noticed that on Android they are sometimes more acceptable or only here are playable. While I'm certainly not giving up Windows and the PC platform (for gaming), Android is a must have for some games.
