Gomoku House Genesis

("Five in a row" game is also referred to as Gomoku, Gobang or Connect 5)

To pass down the art of Gomoku (Wu Zu Qi), Master has devoted himself for many years to study the skills and teach pupils. Master also led pupils to meet other skilled ones to share and exchange on Gomoku art. Master expects all Gomoku art lovers to join this grand gathering to promote and enhance Gomoku arts as well as its spirits.

Chapter 1 Naming

1-1 Master chooses pupil in person and gives a name according to pupil’s looks.
1-2 After choosing one pupil among all, change the pupil’s photo (by touch of preferred pupil’s photo on right side) and pupil’s name (by touch of preferred pupil’s name on right side)
1-3 Touch the tai-chi icon and you can change Master’s name (by touch of preferred name on right side), but you cannot change Master’s photo.
1-4 If chosen pupil has learning obstacles and cannot be improved through Master’s repeated teaching, Master can help to chop and to start again. (Please consider this act carefully!)
1-5 After repeated confirmations, touch icon “ ” for confirmation.
1-6 Touch icon “ ” to complete naming.

Chapter 2 Teaching

2-1 Master chooses pupil in person and conducts teaching according to pupil’s gift.
2-2 Choose one pupil among all and decide the start order (by touch of tai-chi icon) － black side to start first.
2-3 Master can request the pupil to observe and learn from Master’s play first.
2-4 Master can also teach the pupil in person.
2-5 When teaching mode is decided, touch icon “ ” to start.
2-6 After start, decide the piece location by either touch of board intersection directly or move through 4-direction arrow below, and then touch icon “ ” for confirmation.
2-7 During play, Master can be assisted to view the progress through progress assisting mirror.
2-8 During play, Master can decide to stop, restart or choose new pupil.

Chapter 3 Training

3-1 Master chooses pupil in person and conducts practices according to pupils’ skill.
3-2 Choose two (2) pupils among all and decide the start order (by touch of tai-chi icon) － black side to start first.
3-3 Master can request the pupil of right side to observe and learn from the pupil of left side.
3-4 Master can also teach the pupil of right side in person.
3-5 Cancellation of observation and teaching will enter into play mode and 2 pupils will start play for 10 rounds automatically.
3-6 When training mode is decided, touch icon “ ” to start.
3-7 After start, if at teaching mode, decide the piece location by either touch of board intersection directly or move through 4-direction arrow below, and then touch icon “ ” for confirmation.
3-8 During play, Master can be assisted to view the progress through progress assisting mirror.
3-9 During play, Master can decide to stop, restart or choose new pupils.
