About this app

As a kid you lost both of your parents when they suddenly disappeared a dark winter night.
Now, many years later, you decide to return to your old hometown to make peace with the past. To see your old friends and visit the now empty house that once were your home.

But as soon as you return, strange things begin to happen.
There are stories about a haunted forest, and about someone, or something, attacking people.
Slowly you start to remember things, little pieces of what happened that night when your parents disappeared. But somebody, or maybe something, doesn't want you to know what really happened all these years ago. And is willing to do anything to keep it that way.

Thin Ice is a text-based game where your choices determends how the story ends.
You can choose to play as a man, a woman or other, and as straight, gay or bisexual.
