Often comes down to blind luck. Sure you can prepare for encounters and make the best of a bad situation but at the end it always comes down to rolling the correct signs which means you win or lose purely based on luck. The amount of times I had to re-do an encounter just because I couldn't roll the last thing I needed I can't even tell you. It's infuriating getting both a win and a loss you feel like you don't deserve. The game is a good adaptation of the board game too bad the game is annoying

90 percent of the game is pure luck. There is rarely any explanation to the core mechanics unless you ponder around youtube for a while. I really can't see why this is hyped so much...

Ridiculously Too Hard to the point its unplayable as is. I would like to play this otherwise would-be great game, but it really needs an option to choose between easier or normal (current difficulty).

As a long time Call of Cthulhu player, I love this game. Almost impossible to win, but fun to play. Hint, 5/5 investigators live longer.

Very good, but I would love an option where you can watch the videos from each campaign separately after you beat them. I have now beat all but the final campaign and I have missed the atmospheric explanations because I didn't think and pressed the screen too soon and the video disappears. Maybe a double tap to skip, or adding the videos in as a separate unlock would be great. Also on the wish list are more individual "hard" difficulty campaigns. Really enjoyable.

It's pretty spot on with the board game but I would like a multiplayer mode where you can have 1 or more players you invite into the game and they can choose which investigators to play and how many investigators they handle depending on the # of real players instead of having bots for the odd one out.

The tense excitement of Elder Sign is now available for Android! Elder Sign: Omens places you in control of up to four intrepid investigators, as they fight to keep all-powerful Ancient Ones from invading our world through a museum’s arcane exhibits!

*Build a team of unique investigators*
*Explore an ever-changing museum*
*Face challenging arcane tasks*
*Save the world from absolute destruction*
*Expand the horror with two exciting in-app purchases*

Can you stand against the impending arrival of a malevolent Ancient One?

While Elder Sign: Omens brilliantly conveys the spirit of the Elder Sign dice game, a few noteworthy differences were adopted to optimize the mobile play experience:

-A limited number of available Ancient Ones streamlines the game play experience while offering adjustable levels of difficulty. Face Yig in normal mode, Azathoth or Tsathoggua in hard mode, or Cthulhu or Ithaqua in very hard mode (in-app purchases required to face Cthulhu and Ithaqua).
-A number of subtle changes increase the peril of defending humanity. For example, the random negative effects drawn every midnight are more challenging, and the frequency of “no effect” results has been decreased. Monsters have likewise been altered to make them more difficult.
-Finally, there are no Ally cards in Elder Sign: Omens, which further streamlines play while increasing the overall challenge.
