Is a great app, when it works. I have done many flights with this in the past and most of them save, but I just completed my long haul flight with this and was hoping to print it out. The app started like normal with the ding when I turned on my seatbelts sign, but when I finished the flight, it was at the pre-flight screen.

This add-on to Infinite Flight Simulator is great, the result of the reports are way better than expected, every info is given, like in real life, I am having a great time using it!

It's not working on my phone. I've tried 5 times flight using this app and of course I followed all the instructions but nothing happen when I finished my flight. I got "reset log" on my notification. From the reset log that I've got and once again it does not respond. Please advice what should I do?

only issue I got is this, my passengers pay a premium so they can smoke during the flight. This works out to about 63 percent of the ticket cost, some would call it gouging yadayadayada anyhow is there any way you can nix the No Butt Button while keeping the seat belt button doing the deed? Thanks for the cool app Buck "C-RAZJ" Dodgers

About this app

Ever finish a flight in Infinite Flight, only to wish you could have a more objective way to review how you did? Perhaps even an easier way to log this flight report with your Virtual Airline?

In-Flight Operations is a beautifully simple way to create ACARS-style flight reports of your Infinite Flight journeys. It is NOT a flight simulator itself but rather connects to Infinite Flight in the background to gather information about your flight.

In-Flight Operations is the third In-Flight app by John Goering after In-Flight Assistant (soundscape for IF) and In-Flight Instruments (live instruments for IF)!

**** HOW TO USE ****

NOTE: TO MAKE SURE ANDROID DOES NOT SHUT DOWN THIS APP MID-FLIGHT, READ MY ANDROID CONNECTION GUIDE FOUND AT http://bit.ly/if-a-connection-guide

Simply start the app, then enter Infinite Flight, making sure "Infinite Flight Connect" is enabled in the General Settings of Infinite Flight.

Now start your flight report by activating seatbelt & "no smoking" signs while your engine is off (or by starting up your engines if your aircraft does not have seatbelt signs).

Then simply perform your flight from start to finish! Once you turn off your engines (and your seatbelt & "no smoking" signs if you have them), In-Flight Operations will play a pleasant chime to let you know you can now generate your report!

**** PARAMETERS IN THE REPORT ****

Here are the parameters included in your report:

- Departure/Arrival Airport & Runway
- Departure, Takeoff, Landing, Arrival Times in Zulu and local time
- Total Flight Time
- Fuel Usage in kg or lbs (from taxiing to enroute)
- Takeoff / Landing Speed
- Takeoff N1%
- Takeoff / Landing Flaps
- Cruise Altitude
- Final Approach V/S, Speed, Glideslope & Localizer Deviation
- Takeoff / Landing Nose Angle
- Max Bank Angle
- Flight Route, with Speed/Heading/Altitude per Waypoint

ALL OF THIS. COMPLETELY FOR FREE. Crazy, I know. You can "pay" me with a review in the Play Store, how does that sound?

**** SPECIAL THANKS ****
Thanks to virtualBlue for approaching me with the original idea and concept!
Thanks to Jan & Jeno, testers extraordinaire!
Thanks to the IF Community for testing and help!
Thanks to Laura and the Infinite Flight team for the awesome API making this app possible!

New features

Stability update! Now runs as a "foreground" service which should help Android not kill it to save battery. Also, made the network communication with IF more error-tolerant. To start a new flight after making a report, make sure to tap "Reset Flight Log"!
