It's a really good game but on my phone the words are cut off horizontally (I can only see the top part of the words) so it's hard to learn the Anishinaabemowin (Samsung galaxy s4). If that would get fixed then I'd rate it a 5.

The development of this app was an absolute joy. I hope every child has a chance to learn and play.

About this app

Developed as part of the Duluth Children's Museum's "Manoominike" Ojibwe language learning exhibit, this fun matching game teaches Ojibwemowin terms used in the sacred tradition of wild ricing.

Choose a belonging used in wild ricing, from Manoomin (Wild Rice) to Jiimaan (Canoe), then Gagwemikan (Find It) under a series of moccasin tops.

This game was made possible through funding from the Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation's Anishinabe Fund and Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Legacy Fund.
