About this app

A matching puzzle game also known as concentration or memory game. The user can play the game selecting a grid size of 2x3, 2x4, 2x5, 3x4, 4x4, 4x5, 4x6, or 5x6. The app uses images stored on the device. This allows MemoryMatch to be personalized, where children can match personal pictures rather than canned images.

• Kids learn by matching their own pictures.
• Suitable for young kids as an educational game.
• Available for all screen resolutions and devices, including both Tablets and Phones.
• Since images are not part of the application, the app does not take up much space on your device.
• AD-FREE: does not contain third-party ads nor does it have other sales upgrade or In-App purchases. There is no risk of accidental purchase which is very important for children’s games.

Images for MemoryMatch need to be square. Therefore, rectangular images stored on the device need to be squared. Scaling an image will either maintain the same aspect ratio or distort the image while center-cropping will produce images that are chopped off. Instead, MemoryMatch adds borders to the smaller dimension to square the image. For best results, there are many apps where one can manually square an image and save to a designated folder.

How to play the game:
• At the beginning, all cards are laid face down.
• Click on a card to flip it and see the hidden picture.
• Then click on another card.
• If the pictures of both cards match, then they are animated, a positive audio response is played, and the pictures stay permanently flipped.
• If the pictures are not the same, a negative audio response is played and both pictures will be hidden again.
• The object of the game is to turn over all pairs of matching cards in the fewest number of turns. The number of tries is displayed and is used to determine the audio response when the matching is completed.

Educational games like this will help to:
• Improve your concentration, memory skills like visual retention and cognitive skills.
• Develops recognition, visual spatial skills, problem solving, and motor skills of children.
• Scientifically proven that regular mental and concentration exercise can greatly improve children’s memory.
