This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Kana+ on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

Inspired by the popular 'real-kana' website, Kana+ helps users learn Kana by displaying a character, and having the user type in the Romaji that matches. Kana+ includes a list of valuable resources on the web for learning Kana. Also follows Google design guidelines, so it's very #HOLOYOLO until #MATERIALYOLO is ready for the public(;

--Game Modes--
Select your game mode in settings.

-Free Play:
No restrictions and no score. If ever you come across a Kana you don't know, just type in 'help' and the answer will be displayed.

-Time Trial:
Answer each Kana correctly within the time limit or it's game over. As your score increases, your time to answer decreases.

-High Score:
Like free play but with some risk. If your score ever reaches '0', you lose. Try and beat your high score!

Make sure to check out the 'resources' section under settings to check out some gr8 Kana resources.
