Edit: The game unfortunately has gotten very stale. It was an awesome 4-5 star game back in it's prime, but I couldn't imagine coming into the game now as it is. I'm in two completely different servers, but they're both pretty much the same ghost town. They've condensed a lot of servers which reflects this. They recycle a lot of the same events and rewards and have seemingly discontinued a lot of uses or ways of obtaining certain important rewards. Overall the game is very unbalanced and some characters don't work properly (my level 84 account team beats by level 117 account during cross-server matches). Sadly after a number of years of playing, I've decided to let this one go. Previous review: Definitely worth checking out for any fantasy RPG fan. With the ability to not only pve, but pvp, it plays a bit like an mmo. Especially w/ the arena, multiplayer, & world boss events. Excellent variety in party customization, class, & character development. Downsides for me would be the tedious character training (lots of repetitive button pressing). Requires a slight amount of patience & strategy, but very rewarding in the end. Lots to keep you busy! ~Daemona (S11- Glory)

The game is out dated and needs some TLC. Don't waste your money on this game

Been playing this game for about 8 months now, fun with a lot of stuff to do. Edit: game is dead, due to lack of care from developers fixing issues and releasing new characters to promote spending. Each new character had more abilities that were flawed i.e. a characters attack couldn't be dodged, but certain characters still dodged the attacks.

This game has gotten stale. No new content in some time just more things to make you spend. Played for 2 years now and I'm out of new things to do. It has become more of the same thing day after day

Changed to a one star. I haven't played in almost one year. The dev support is terrible. The games has dozens of bugs, and instead of fixing these bugs, the developers release new servers, which are only to encourage new spenders. New servers kill old servers because people hope to be top dog over there. It's a vicious cycles in all these games,, but a lot worse in DBE. Avoid this game if you can. Even with unlimited funds, there are other games you can be the best at if you want to pay to win.
